Bio:

Brodie brings the team at Evolve over 10 years of charismatic leadership and right of way acquisition experience. Prior to developing Evolve in 2007, Brodie gained experience working with a service provider as well as working for a leading Oil and Gas Operator; EnCana Corporation. Brodie’s vision and passion for the job has found him in influential roles at a young age and lead his first team of talented employees at EnCana when he was 26 years old. Leading a team of 18 employees, Brodie was accountable for the acquisition and community engagement within the Wheatland Sub-business unit. Brodie’s team acquired between 300 to 400 wellsites, with associated pipeline and facilities per year, while striving to operate with a positive community presence. It has allowed Brodie to gain valuable experience for the technical requirements of the acquisition profession and advance his team’s training program for developing a Surface Strategist.

Brodie’s continued dedication to the educational demands of the Right of Way Industry shines through with his volunteer commitments in a variety of associations.

Brodie is passionate about creating the next generation of Right of Way professionals. He is achieving this by encouraging employees to be educated in the local environment as well as on an international platform. Brodie believes it is ours, and everyone’s, responsibility to ensure there are many opportunities in the future for the Right of Way profession. It is clear in Evolve’s Vision Statement: “At Evolve, we have a vision of blending the skill sets of several key disciplines to continually develop and maintain a strong competency training program that is respected by industry, allowing our team to provide premium service while creating a new and exciting environment of choice for the surface land community to work with.” Brodie continues to set strategic direction for the company and motivates by infusing energy and eagerness into the Evolve team to create innovative ideas that result in highly effective solutions for the right of way industry.

In the first four years Evolves team has grown to 17 employees who are dedicated in their professional growth. The Team has also grown demographically working all through Western Canada; expanding outside of the oil and gas sector to transmission and community engagement specialists for sensitive projects.

Evolve has been fortunate to invest in diverse growth opportunities and receive positive feedback that we are continually creating an environment that attracts great people and promotes a growing pursuit of industry best practices that is respected by industry. What you might not know…

Brodie is a huge sports fan who has travelled to many different cities to take in a variety of different sporting events including supporting his favorite hockey team; The Calgary Flames. He also has a license plate that reads “H2OLVR” which expresses his love for water. When he has time to escape to his property in Elko, BC you can find him hitting the wake on the lake with his wakeboard and soaking up the great outdoors with his family and friends.

Provides leadership, structure and guidance for the field and project facilitation teams, ensuring Evolve has complete, consistent and thorough stakeholder engagement practices.

Bio:

A results-oriented impact player, Trevor started his Surface Land career in 2002. He has worked extensively in the field as an active land agent working strongly in oil development and high volumes of shallow gas. One of his specialties is with working on all types of irrigated and crown lands.

In the office he has been accountable for leading diverse groups of surface land professionals. He has been responsible for a team of surface land administrators and field agents where he assigned clear accountabilities and works toward ensuring that the client’s needs are met. He has the proven ability to motivate and coach large groups of surface land professionals while contributing to creating a culture for optimal performance.

His understanding of business objectives and how to practically and effectively apply surface strategies helps him to ensure client goals are on target and objectives are being met. Trevor looks forward to continue to utilize high standards of professionalism in leading a team skilled to complete client projects in a timely and cost effective manner.

In 2001, Trevor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Lethbridge.

In 2009, Trevor became an active member of the International Right of Way Association and has declared his candidacy for the SR/WA designation for 2011.

What you might not know…

Trevor loves to cook and create his own recipes. He also enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fly fisherman.

Bio:

Evolve Surface Strategies Inc. is pleased to announce that Krista Moscato will be joining our team the Vice President - Compliance effective January 2, 2012. Krista will play an integral part of expanding our executive leadership team to enhance and improve on our client care, specifically around streamlining administrative processes and enhancing current control measures for compliance.

Krista brings over fifteen years of surface land experience to the existing Evolve Executive team of Brodie Allen, President and Trevor Martens, Vice President - Acquisition. Most recently, Krista was a Surface Coordinator and part owner at Horseshoe Land Services Ltd., which she opened with her partner in 2007. For eight and a half years Krista worked with EnCana Corporation in the Brooks, Drumheller and Ponoka areas and was the lead surface coordinator for the EnCana Strathmore North area. Krista also worked with Foothills Land Inc. for over a year coordinating and managing a number of projects for various clients.

Utilizing her experienced skillsets including Administration, Acquisition and Coordination, Krista’s role will be to enhance and monitor Evolve workflow processes, with specific focus on Evolves compliance and regulatory processes. She will also work closely with the Project Facilitation Team to ensure Evolve continues to have unique Surface Strategist solutions for clients when working in complex and sensitive situations during project planning, facilitation and negotiation processes.

Building on our client successes and staying consistent with our core values, Evolve is excited to be welcoming Krista Moscato a key player in Evolves continued growth.

Bio:

Andrea was born and raised in Grande Prairie, AB, completing her marketing diploma then moving down south to successfully earn her Bachelor of Management with a focus in Human Resources and Marketing from the University of Lethbridge.

In 2006, her surface land experience began at a leading industry energy company learning about oil and gas development in a supporting role on the surface land team.

On June 1, 2007, Invested in an experience to shape the future of the surface land community Andrea became Evolves first employee and helped open the doors to Evolve. She wanted to be apart of creating a new company on the leading edge of surface land business practices. Andrea assumed the diverse role of Operations and was integral in the early development of Evolves Mission, Vision and Belief System that the company proudly operates under today. Andrea works closely with Evolves President and Team Lead, continually striving to ensure the team maintains focus on quarterly objectives and goals.

In May 2009, Andrea successfully completed her Land Agent License and began pursuing Mediation/ Conflict Resolution training through the University of Calgary to further diversify her talents within Evolves team.

Andrea pushes Evolve to celebrate our roots and history; at the same time looking forward to new opportunities, and enabling our team to see measurable results. Her next step is to focus on the continued implementation of Evolves Vision and create an environment that attracts great people and promotes a growing pursuit of industry best practices that is respected by the surface land community.

What you might not know…

Andrea spent a summer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia working for a multinational company creating their Human Resources policies manual for their international power plant employees. She also has a passion for Health and Fitness; she has her AFLCA certificate and teaches group fitness classes. She enjoys encouraging other people to live healthy lives as much as she can.

Bio:

Prior to joining Evolve, Charmaine completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. She started her career working for the Palliser school district in Southern Alberta. She worked with children diagnosed with Autism offering academic guidance. She then took a break from the school district to start a family of her own. Charmaine and her husband Trevor moved back to where Charmaine was born and raised in Airdrie with their two girls; Ainsley and Addison and two dogs; Roxy and Sage.

Charmaine’s transition back into the workforce was simplified due to Evolves head office located in Airdrie. She felt fortunate to join a company where she could balance a healthy work-life balance.

Since joining Evolve in January 2011, Charmaine has demonstrated incredible initiative and ability to adapt quickly. Her strong work ethic has added to a solid reputation for providing detailed service and strategic solutions. Charmaine has played an integral part in implementing Evolves accounting system. She is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information to ensure Evolve is operating in the most cost effective manner.

What you might not know…

Charmaine loves to scrapbook and go camping with her family and friends. She also loves to read and participates in a monthly book club.
